A Busy End to 2024

HAPPY 2025, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are now ready to take on 2025 and all it may hold.

As always December was chaotic for The Graziers Daughter, however this year was a little different in that November was busy as well due to receiving several corporate orders early which was great.  Receiving orders in November makes it so much easier to organise and schedule product numbers and deliveries, especially if they are larger numbers such as 30 or 50 hampers at a time.  One of the most difficult areas around Christmas ordering for me is getting the numbers right so that I don’t either run out too early or have an abundance left over, especially if it’s Christmas type products like gingerbread or Christmas cakes and puddings.

Benefits to Planning Ahead for Christmas

Some of the Christmas-type products require orders to be in by the end of August so it’s essential to look at previous years’ product numbers and then increase or decrease numbers accordingly.  Receiving orders early allows me time to increase product numbers if need be, which then means I am able to meet all order requirements and keep my customers happy.

Our Country Christmas Celebrations

We celebrated a country Christmas at home this year with the family which was lovely – 6 adults, 1 toddler and 3 dogs made for a fun time.  January has been a quiet period for The Graziers Daughter, spending time with family and friends and just trying to catch my breath and have some R&R as well.   The larder was bare, so I have spent some time organizing and restocking products, so we are ready to go again.  

Valentine’s Day Collaboration

I can’t believe January is nearly over and we are heading into February – which means Valentine’s Day.  This year I have organised a collaboration between Netty and the team from Botanica Rose Farm at Highfields with the Graziers Daughter to offer a one stop shop experience – flowers and food. That way you can purchase your flowers plus a romantic hamper full of delicious goodies for your loved one.  The only thing with these is obviously they will be for local delivery only due to the flowers not being able to be couriered.   There will be Valentine hampers on the website as well if you prefer to purchase something direct.
